Production line glass!

I have to say a massive thank you to Tash for helping me out today on my big corporate order. Tea, hot chocolate, 'Labyrinth' and 'Coming to America' also helped us get through making 300 single cufflink pieces to eventually make 150 pairs. In total we cut 1,500 pieces of glass! Some feat I'm sure you'll agree. They are ready to go in the kiln tomorrow. I'll post another photo once they are fired and cleaned up, then the final shot of them all finished and looking sparkly and amazing! :)

  1. That looks like a lot of work there! How many cuts did you and Tash get?!

Looking forward to seeing the finished cufflinks.

  2. Sure was a lot of work. Still got lots to do turning them into the finished product. I think it was one cut a piece. I would've been disappointed if there were no 'war wounds' ;)

  3. I mean one for me, one for Tash - not one per piece of glass! I think that would've done us in, 1,500 cuts!!!

  4. Ha! Can you imagine? You'd have been in casualty most of the day!

One cut each - that's pretty good going. Mind you, I find I go through phases. I won't get a glass cut for days and then all of a sudden I get about four on one day. I should get sponsored by Elastoplast!
