Bye bye 'Ice Blue' notebook

I have so many types of fused glass goodies I sometimes forget what I've made/have for sale! An order came in yesterday for one of my new 'Stax' handmade fused glass rings as well as one of my 'cute little notebooks' in blue. I'd forgotten how sweet they are. Must make more :)

Is blue the colour of the month?

I know it's a very wet August (again!) but it seems that may have affected my customers choice of cufflink purchases! Yesterday I sold:

'Water Drop'

and today it was:

'Blue Ray'

Blue and water seem to be the themes on cufflinks for now, but maybe if the sun comes out I might sell something a bit more summery?! ...saying that, I have just had a request for a handmade fused glass wall hanger in bright sunshine yellows :)

I like to share my fab finds on the web. One of those is 'KirstyFish', a UK crafter who is a GENIUS with felt and fabric. I already own one of her gingerbread boys and have just bought the set pictured below - couldn't help myself! I also bought another gingerbread boy for my friend Emma a while back now so Kirsty probably thinks I'm gingerbread-nuts! (She could be right!) This is the feedback she left for me on etsy.com after the 2nd sale (made me chuckle!)...

This is the second boy i have sold to this lady. I'm calling in social services because i think she might have EATEN the first boy.... x

I do love lil' gingerbread-related things and I am planning on putting some on my Xmas tree come December :) I already have a fab metal cut-away gingerbread man who always gets pride of place. Should show you him sometime... Anyway, here is the set I just bought:

NEW! More rings - 'Bubblz' and more 'Stax'

I'm on a roll with rings! I love, love, love the new 'Bubblz' design. So fun and different. These are now for sale on my website here. Hope you like them. As one of my colleagues at work would say, they're so "jolly". I've also added to the 'Stax' range of handmade rings.

NEW! Fun, funky, chunky rings

So, they're here. The beginnings of 3 new ranges of handmade fused glass rings. 'Stax' I posted about a few days ago are stacked layers of ever-decreasing squares. These are very fun, funky, chunky statement pieces. 'Blox' are also chunky, fun rings but thick stripes instead of stacks. 'Dotz' are cute, delicate rings for those of you who like something subtle and sweet. All are now available in a new 'fused glass rings' section on my website.

I have taken photos of all the rings but need to spend a little time editing the photos. These are what I've done so far.

How cool is this?! A friend of mine in the States makes them out of big pebbles. I think it's amazing and I want one. Might be a bit costly to post though....! Just thought I'd share a bit of someone else's talent for a change :)
